IBUSINESS ANNOUNCES CHANGES IN SHAREHOLDING STRUCTURE
CHEUNG KONG NOW HOLDS MAJORITY 73% STAKE

 
   
   
  

(July 27, 2007 ¡V Hong Kong) ¡V iBusinessCorporation.com Holdings Limited ("iBusiness" or the "Company"), a joint venture company which focuses on investing and developing innovative ventures in the areas of information technology and financial related services, announced changes to its shareholding structure.

   

Following the purchase of a combined 23.75% of the entire issued share capital of iBusiness from The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited and Hang Seng Bank Limited for a total consideration of HK$8.729 million, Cheung Kong (Holdings) Limited has increased its stake in the Company and is now the majority shareholder, with 73.31% of shares. The remaining 26.69% shares of the Company are held by Hutchison Whampoa Limited.

   

The change in ownership will allow iBusiness to consolidate its management.

   

Since its inception in 2000, iBusiness has made a number of innovative investments in the areas of information technology and financial related services, such as those in mReferral, AMTD, Excel Technology, as well as a host of e-commerce companies. Going forward, the Company shall continue to embrace this strategy and look for more investment opportunities.
